Ever since the tender age of four, when Brittany was first introduced to tap dancing, she fell in love with a life on the stage. Her first onstage appearance was performing a tap solo, and from then on, she was hooked. The progression began from dancer to instrumentalist, to singer and then to a full blown musical theatre performer. This love of performance took Brittany so far as to pursue a Bachelor’s of Music in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Clarinet Performance from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. She graduated in May of 2021, and hopes to begin a full fledged career as a musical theatre performer.

A versatile musical theatre performer, Brittany Davis is an Indiana-based singer, actor, dancer and musician. In addition to being an active performer, Brittany has also accrued credits in directing, set building, and more. She is a former employee of the Boze Lyric Theatre’s scene shop staff, and has extensive experience with light and sound boards. Most recently, Brittany performed with Southbank Theatre Company as Maria in their Spring 2022 musical production of Twelfth Night.

Brittany is currently working as a choreographer for two Indiana based schools - Columbus North High School (North Drama), as well as Saint Pius X.

Other acting credits include: Berte (Boeing Boeing), Jetsam (The Little Mermaid), Narrator (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), and Rizzo (Grease).

In addition to being on the stage, Brittany can be found underneath it, playing clarinet in the pit orchestra for shows. Most recently, Brittany played first part clarinet in The Medium, and Le nozze de figaro with the Boze Lyric Theatre. She also used her bassoon playing skills to play in the pit for Oliver! with the Mill Race Theatre Company (MRTC), but no longer plays bassoon in this capacity.

Brittany is the proud recipient of the Buck Creek Players 2018 Blaine Jarrett Memorial Scholarship for theatre, as well as the John Johnson and Edith Brown scholarship for theatre from her alma mater, Columbus North High School, located in Columbus, IN. She also competed in and won third prize in the Anna Newell Brown Scholarship Competition for Vocalists.
